Who we are

This Privacy Notice describes how Tasha Ray Productions, Inc. (also doing business as "Secrets of the Opposite Sex: Exposed") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website and game (the "Service"). We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What we collect and why

• Email address — when you make a purchase, subscribe, restore purchases, or open your subscription portal. Used to attach your unlocks to you, send receipts, and let you restore access on another device. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Purchase & subscription records — the SKU you bought, the deck (if any), payment provider transaction ID, subscription status, and billing period end. Stored so we can grant access and answer support questions. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Fan submissions — the question text, social handle, and platform you provide. Displayed in the Fan Faves deck with attribution. Legal basis: consent.
• Remote play data — room codes, a display name you choose, chat messages, and reactions you send inside a room. Used to run the multiplayer feature in real time. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Device-local preferences — favorites and entitlements stored in your browser's localStorage. These never leave your device.
• Basic technical data — IP address, browser type, and access logs generated by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interests.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

Who we share data with

• Stripe — our payment processor. Stripe processes card payments, manages subscriptions, and issues receipts. When you check out, your name, email, billing address, and payment details are collected directly by Stripe under their own privacy notice.
• Hosting and database providers — Lovable Cloud (Supabase infrastructure) for storing purchase records, subscriptions, fan submissions, and remote play data.
• YouTube (Google) — the Episodes page embeds YouTube videos. When you press play, YouTube may set cookies under its own privacy policy.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase and subscription records for as long as you have an active entitlement and afterwards for as long as needed to comply with tax and accounting law. Fan submissions are kept until you ask us to remove them or they're hidden by community reports. Remote play room data is short-lived and removed shortly after the room is no longer in use.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email inquiries@secretsoftheoppositesex.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK/EEA, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest in our database, scoped access controls, and signed webhook verification — to protect your data. No system is ever 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and localStorage entries to keep you signed into your unlocks, remember your favorites, and let our payment provider complete checkout. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

The Service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we make material changes to this Notice we'll update the "Effective" date and, where appropriate, notify you on the website.
